Berlin rockers The Flavians are back with a brand new single Non Stop Fun (All I Wanted). Their previous single On The Radio was an instant attention grabber and much of that distinctive sound remains with this one.
Non Stop Fun (All I Wanted) is an indie-rock track with a 60s infused sound. Recorded using both analogue and digital gear, The Flavians definitely have their own way of doing things and we’re big fans of that. The single is based on a true story and the band explain it all below:
“Non Stop Fun (All I Wanted), an existential parody and reflection on the mundanities of modern life. It’s told from the point of view of a disgruntled office worker whose life gradually drifts out of control over the course of one fateful day. Each verse sets a new scene and tells a different chapter in our hero’s journey as his once stable house of cards, falls around him in spectacular fashion.”
The Flavians are already cementing their style into a mad industry where anything goes. They might not be a band bound for major label success, but that’s a good thing. These Berlin rockers belong on the indie scene and they could go very far. The band are definitely getting their name around and have already drawn from UK blogs and BBC Radio, the US and of course Germany.
It’s safe to say that we’re extremely excited to see what The Flavians come up with next and you should be too.
The music video tells the story in the best way possible and if you don’t watch it, you’re missing out massively.
