Huge Valentine returns with ‘All I Want’, a brand new single and it’s impressive from every angle.

We caught up with the London based artist at BBC Introducing Live at Tobacco Dock in London in November last year and we couldn’t wait to hear his new music. ‘All I Want’, produced by Henrik Fossum, is an undeniably catchy pop song with a dramatic production that builds throughout.

The new single is about the desire to find love and talks about the uncertainty of the future, Valentine explains more below:

“‘All I Want’ explores the idea that when a person desires something very strongly, that very thing seems to appear all around them, taunting them, just out of reach. The song also addresses the fear of having to come to terms with being alone, something which people often do to protect themselves.”

Valentine has definitely taken his music to the next level with this single and it fits in well with modern commercial music. ‘All I Want’ is not a pop song with a UK Top 40 sound but I think that’s a good thing. Instead, it has some wonderful piano parts, shimmering guitars and loud rocked-up drums to accompany the powerful vocals that lead the way.

Hugo Valentine has plenty to follow this year with new releases, gigs and much more. In the meantime, listen to his new single ‘All I Want’ below.
