Rising country-pop artist Vic Allen has released a brand new single entitled ‘Talk’. We’re big fans of the Norwich based singer/songwriter and we’re always left wanting more.

‘Talk’ has a familiar sound to her previous release ‘Keeping Me Up’ but is definitely more pop focused than country. The single was co-written with UK favourite Kaity Rae, who also co-produced the release with Lauren Deakin-Davies.

Lyrically ‘Talk’ is everything we have come to expect from Allen and it expresses the feeling of wanting to reach out to someone after a downfall in a relationship. The clean acoustic-pop sound is definitely the centre of this track and whilst it does have emotion, it comes across differently to her previous releases. That being said, ‘Talk’ is a very catchy, upbeat song and is bound to stick in your head for days.

Vic Allen is becoming very well known on the UK country music scene and has recently supported artists such as Sarah Darling. 2018 was a great year, with Allen releasing plenty of music, touring with Emily Faye and Beth Keeping for the Write Like A Girl tour as well as visiting Nashville.

2019 is setting up to be pretty great as well and there will be plenty of times to catch Allen live. Listen to ‘Talk’ below or watch the lyric video at the top of the page and be sure to get down to one of her gigs, the full list so far is below. You can follow Vic Allen online here.
