Tors are a rising trio from Devon who have already engaged the likes of BBC 6 Music and Radio X with their previous releases. Their new single ‘Something I Said’ is a dramatic indie pop track ready to grace your ears.

The single is made up of warming harmonies, infectious melodies and atmospheric charm. It’s a track that draws you in slowly, starting with just a piano and vocals. The full band gradually come in with clean guitars, electronic drums and effective synths to accompany the impressive voice of the lead vocalist. ‘Something I Said’ is definitely a track that you will want to listen to time and time again.

Speaking on their new single, Tors explain the meaning behind the song:

“’Something I Said’ is a combination of experiences we’ve had in relationships that went wrong and you just don’t know why. That awful one-sided conversation when they ask to stay friends and you couldn’t imagine anything worse. How can you be friends with someone you saw your life being with? It’s a breakup song, a question and a ‘f*** you’ all in one really.”

From selling out shows at London’s St Pancras Old Church and Omeara to touring with the likes of Tom Walker, there’s no wonder that the trio are known for their fantastic live sets. The band are also currently supporting Irish favourites Walking On Cars on tour – find out more here.

Tors are well and truly on their way to becoming a breakthrough act themselves and we can’t wait to hear more from them. In the meantime, listen to ‘Something I Said’ below and be sure to follow the band online here.
