The brand new single ‘Living In The Dark’ by Roisin O’Hagan is out now. It’s available to stream or buy on all digital platforms, click here for Spotify and iTunes/Apple Music.

Released in partnership with Art Will Fall, O’Hagan takes it to the next level with ‘Living In The Dark’. It’s a song that shows a different side to her songwriting and a strong progression in her music.

O’Hagan explains what the track is about and what it means to her below:

‘Living In The Dark’ is a special song to me for lots of reasons. With most of the songs I write, I don’t entirely know what I’m trying to express while I’m writing them and they develop their meanings over time – ‘Living In The Dark’ is one of those songs. To me, it’s about feeling absolutely lost and unable to face or overcome something. It’s the kind of lost where, when you’re in it, you don’t even realise you’re lost. It takes a moment of strength, something or someone, to shake you and face the things you are feeling. We all have demons; this is a song that I want people to listen to and see their own.

On a personal note, it has been a pleasure to record, mix and produce the single – we are extremely excited to be sharing it with you.

‘Living In The Dark’ was mastered by Chris Graham in Ohio, US.

Roisin will promoting the new single on various BBC radio stations over the coming days. She will be live on BBC Radio Essex at 2pm today (31/05), BBC Radio Cambridgeshire at 8pm (02/06), BBC Radio Kent (04/06) and BBC Radio Suffolk at 6pm (05/06).
