Elliott Joseph is a singer/songwriter who writes extremely well crafted and passionate songs. His last release, an EP entitled ‘Wild Atlantic Heart’, was highly impressive. The rising artist is back with ‘While We’re Young’, a brand new single and you couldn’t imagine a better follow up.
Joseph has a strong, distinctive voice which is mixed with a huge folk-rock sound. We first heard ‘While We’re Young’ live in London and it went down a storm. It’s an uplifting track that’s packed with energy and wonderful instrumentation.
Joseph explains more about his new single below:
“I wrote this song back in October 2018. It is one of the most personal on the record. I have always felt a deep passion for travel and the longer you live, the more you realise that company on your adventures is what life is all about.
When I’m old, I want to look back on my life, all those memories hung upon the walls, and know that I took every chance, I spent my youth and my elder years in the ocean, on the tallest of mountains, chasing down my dreams, and creating a story that was my own.
Most importantly, I want to know I shared it with the one I love, my brothers and sisters, whether biological or not, my family, the friends I made along the way.”
‘While We’re Young’ is a highly relatable song for all the right reasons. It’s a song for the dreamer, a soundtrack for the youth and a track to inspire everyone.
With a new EP entitled ‘Band Of Outsiders’ set for release on the 23rd August, Joseph has plenty to unveil and we’re extremely excited. In the meantime, enjoy the new single below and be sure to follow Elliott Joseph online here.
Elliott Joseph and his band will also be playing a launch show at The Star Inn, Guilford, on the 25th of August.
